Quest Achieves ISO 13485 Certification, Marking Major Milestone for Meditech Growth

Quest is proud to announce that it has successfully achieved ISO 13485 certification, a significant milestone for the business and an important step forward for Quest Meditech as it continues to grow and expand its capabilities within the medical device sector.

The certification audit was completed with an exceptional outcome. The process ran extremely smoothly, with zero non-conformities identified and the auditor formally recognising seven areas of best practice. This is an outstanding result that reflects the strength and maturity of Quest’s systems and teams.

Throughout the audit, the auditor highlighted the robustness of Quest’s controlled processes and the confidence demonstrated by staff across the business. Particular praise was given to how well procedures are embedded into daily operations, how accessible and well maintained evidence was, and how clearly teams understand and take ownership of their responsibilities.

This certification is especially significant as it formally brings Quest Meditech under the ISO 13485 scope, recognising it as a fully compliant medical device business. This achievement opens the door to future tenders, expanded customer opportunities, and strengthened distribution agreements with manufacturers and partners.

The certified scope also includes PPM activities for medical assessment units. As a result, Quest’s operations across Brentwood, Heyford, and Warrington, covering medical devices, medical environments, and medical units, are now all certified to ISO 13485 standards.

Achieving this certification represents a substantial collective effort across the business. It reflects the dedication, preparation, and professionalism of teams involved in developing documentation, demonstrating processes, and supporting the audit from start to finish.
